On 5^th August 2024, Rt Hon PM Charlot Salwai was welcomed at the Beehives by RT Hon PM Luxon with a guard of honor.

PM Salwai had the opportunity to meet separately to discuss matters of mutual benefits with Rt Hon PM Christopher Luxon, Hon DPM, Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Leader of Opposition, Hon Chris Hipkins. In the capital, Wellington, PM and delegation had a meeting with the department of Fisheries.

 PM Salwai and delegation visited Marlborough region and Auckland before heading back on the 8^th of August 2024.

Hon Minister Maco Mahe and Director of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Yvon Basil were members of PM Salwai's delegation.

This visit was Hon Salwai’s third visit to NZ as PM of Vanuatu.
