Vanuatu Electoral Commission (VEC) had an exchange visit to the NZ Electoral Commission from 3rd to 7th November 2025.
This exchange is part of VEC ongoing efforts to strengthen electoral processes through regional collaboration.
“We see it as an opportunity to share best practices and explore innovations in electoral administration that can be used by the Vanuatu in future to strengthen Vanuatu's Electoral Management Body as well as its electoral processes and procedures”, said Chairman, Edward Kaltamat.
The delegation included Mr. Edward Kaltamat, Chairman of the Vanuatu Electoral Commission; Mrs. Linnes Moli Tarianga, Member of the Electoral Commission; Mr. Shem Tema, Member of the Electoral Commission; Mr. Gary Tavoa, Deputy Principal Electoral Officer; and Mrs. Malgorzata Wisniewska, UNDP Chief Technical advisor for the Vanuatu Electoral Environment Project (VEEP).
