Tuners & Growers (T&G) International invited all pacific missions to a Pow Hiri in Clive, Hastings (Bay of Plenty) to welcome RSE workers 2025.

Vanuatu High Commissioner to NZ, HE Jimmy Nipo and PNG High Commissioner, HE Sakias Tameo attended the occasion.

Over 500 RSE workers from Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, PNG, Tonga, and Samoa attended the ceremony.

The Māori chiefs warmly welcomed all who were present with several Waiata. Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE), MFAT and horticulture NZ were also present including Lord Mayor Santra.

Each pacific supplying nation returned the welcome with traditional songs and dances. It was a wonderful get together.

After the Powiri, T & G invited the PNG High Commissioner, HE Sakias Tameo and HE Jimmy Nipo, Vanuatu High Commissioner to their pack house to see the processes of packing apples.
