Malekula, the second largest island in Vanuatu produces top quality cocoa beans which have won international awards.

The yummy chocolates from the Wellington Factory are made from cocoa beans imported from Pinalum, Malekula, Vanuatu.

On 8^th March 2024, the Vanuatu High Commission staff had the honor and privilege to tour the Wellington factory.

It was an extra ordinary first-hand experience to be taught ‘the how’ of chocolate making. The High Commission staff left the factory overwhelmed with yummy chocs they made themselves!
