NZ Pacific Business Council (NZPBC) chair, Mr. Giles Jephcott led a team of NZ businesses to Vanuatu, from 7-12 June 2025. The businesses and organizations include: 

NZ Trade & Enterprise (NZTE), NZPBC (NZ Pacific Business Council), Astrolabe Shipping, Tonkin & Taylor Engineering firm, Ventech systems, Pacific trade Invest NZ, Neptune Pacific Direct (Shipping), Pacific Trades Invest NZ,  Colin Carr Agencies, Blue Star, Intracor Commodity Exports, VULCAN Steel LTD, RICOH (Digital Transformation), BECCA Engineers, Tradestaff Global,  Matneat International Ltd, Kliptank (Mechanical Engineering), McConnell Dowell Construction Ltd, and Barkers cuisine.

The Right Honourable Prime Minister, Jotham Napat welcomed the team to Port Vila thanking them for making the time to visit Vanuatu’s capital. He acknowledged NZ-Vanuatu strong people-to-people relationship, thanking NZ for the help Vanuatu has received and is receiving towards Vanuatu’s development. PM expressed his government’s appreciation for NZ’s response during the 17^th of December 2024 earthquake. He concluded by wishing the mission a successful visit.  

The team also met the DPM, Hon Johnny Koanapo, other Ministers, senior government officials and members of the private sector.
